This site is on the Thruxton winterbourne section of the Pillhill Brook.
There are no invertebrate count results for this site as the brook is too narrow to make a kick-sample possible.
The Thruxton winterbourne stopped at this site on 27 July and dried up completely the following day 28 July 2025 due to falling ground water levels.
This is a natural seasonal occurrence.
The winterbourne started flowing again on 31 December 2025 due to rising groundwater levels.
